A CLOSER LOOK
What’s included
- Eight printable pages with space for your planning notes
- Family, trusted people and professional contacts
- Property, accounts, other assets, debts and commitments
- Prompts for wishes, missing information and next steps
- A document locator to help someone find important records
A little organisation can make a real difference
Knowing where to begin is often the hardest part. The worksheet breaks the task into manageable sections: the people involved, what you own, what you owe, the wishes you want to consider and where the paperwork is kept.
You do not need to finish it in one sitting. Start with the details you know, note the questions to follow up and return when you have the information. Use it alongside our will preparation checklist or before a conversation with your solicitor.
Useful information, kept securely
Record where accounts and documents are held, rather than passwords, PINs or recovery codes. Date your notes, keep the completed worksheet securely and tell a trusted person where to find it. Do not send a completed copy to a general customer-support inbox.
The worksheet organises information; it does not appoint an executor, make a gift, grant authority or change a signed will. Use the appropriate legal document for those arrangements and review it when circumstances change.
Is it right for me?
You want to prepare before making a will, review what has changed, or make important information easier for someone you trust to find. Complete the sections that are useful to you and add dated extra sheets where needed.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
Your questions, answered
Is the worksheet editable or printable?
This product is an eight-page PDF designed to be printed and completed by hand. It is not sold as an editable Word document or an interactive form. Add dated extra sheets if you need more room.
Does this replace a last will and testament?
No. It is an organiser and document locator. To put testamentary wishes into a legal document, explore the online will, Irish will kit or personal legal advice as appropriate.
Is this the same worksheet included in the will kit?
No. The will kit contains its own will writing worksheet. This separate eight-page organiser covers wider estate information and document locations. You do not need to buy it just to receive the kit’s worksheet.
How often should I review it?
Check it when your family, assets, contacts or wishes change. Date each review and check the underlying legal documents too; updating notes does not update a signed will.
