You choose optional measurement

Necessary cookies support sign-in, security and your basket. Optional visit-attribution cookies stay off unless you select “Allow optional measurement”. You can refuse them and still use the website. Select Cookie settings in the footer at any time to change your choice.

Necessary cookies

• iw_cookie_choice remembers whether you accepted or refused optional measurement for up to 180 days. It contains a choice, version and timestamp, not your name or will answers.
• WordPress sign-in cookies keep you signed in and check whether your browser accepts cookies. Their duration depends on your sign-in and “Remember me” choice.
• woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart support your basket during the browser session. wp_woocommerce_session_ links your browser to its basket information, normally for two days.

Optional visit attribution

With your permission, WooCommerce uses cookies beginning sbjs_ to record referral or campaign information and basic visit details so we can understand which visits lead to purchases. These are first-party cookies on this website, used for the browsing session; the visit session lasts about 30 minutes. They are not used to read will answers. Our account, will-creation, document and payment-return pages do not enable this measurement.

Choosing “Only necessary” stops optional attribution and removes its cookies from this browser. Your sign-in and basket cookies are preserved. Attribution already recorded against an earlier order is not erased by changing a browser preference; contact us about your data rights.

Optional public-page analytics

When the public website opens, and only if you allow optional measurement, Google Analytics will help us understand visits to our public information and product pages. It receives basic browser and visit information, the public page address and title, and the referring website's address without its path or search terms. Google may process this information outside Ireland. See Google's privacy information.

Analytics uses _ga and _ga_QT830KTYRM cookies, configured to last up to 180 days. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled. We do not enable Google Analytics for signed-in visitors, account pages, will creation, documents, baskets, checkout, payment returns or pages with URL query parameters. Will answers, names and order details are not sent through this feature.

No Google Analytics request is made before your permission. Choosing "Only necessary" stops this measurement and clears these cookies. It does not erase information already received by Google; contact us about your data rights.

Payments and external websites

When checkout is available, Stripe processes payments and may use cookies or similar storage for payment security and fraud prevention. Payment features are separate from our optional visit measurement. See Stripe’s cookie information. Links to Amazon or other external websites open services with their own privacy choices; we do not embed social feeds on these pages.

Browser controls and questions

You can also clear or block cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, basket or checkout features from working. If your browser cannot save your preference, optional measurement stays off. Contact support@irishwills.ie with questions, and read our privacy information.
