1. Gather the essentials
Have your details to hand and think about the people you would like to include. Consider who you trust to act as executor and, if relevant, who you would want to care for your children.
2. Work through your wishes
The online process asks questions about the arrangements you want to make. Read the guidance as you go. If your circumstances need individual advice, speak to a solicitor before continuing.
3. Review, purchase and download
Check every name, address and choice. Read the whole document, not just the summary. Your completed version is saved before payment. Purchase unlocks its PDF in your member account so you can download and print it.
4. Complete the signing process
Follow the signing and witnessing instructions carefully. Keep your signed original in a safe place and tell your executor where to find it.
Your first 30 days
Your purchase includes 30 days of updates to the same person’s will, starting when payment is confirmed. You can correct or change the document owner’s name during the first seven days. After that, contact support about a name correction. Previously completed versions are kept in your account. A new version must be printed, signed and witnessed correctly; editing your answers does not change a will you have already signed.
Keep your plans up to date
Review your will when your circumstances change. Marriage, separation, a new child, a death in the family or a substantial change in assets can all be reasons to seek advice and review your arrangements.
